AUTUMN/WINTER

Henham Christmas Market - Fri 16th November

From the organisers: "This traditional Christmas Market has lots on offer, including foods, art, candles, chocolate, jewellery, cards, soaps, books, Christmas decorations, preserves, handbags, accessories, and many more handmade artisan items. Perfect gifts for all the family!"

Felsted Prep School Christmas Fair - Sat 17th November

From the organisers: "...offers the perfect opportunity to pick up some beautiful Christmas gifts and avoid the High Street! There are also plenty of food stalls and Christmas-themed activities to keep the children occupied whilst you shop, including inflatables by Evolution Events and a visit by Lion Learners!"

Stapleford Christmas Gift Fair - Sun 18th November

From the organisers: "The Stapleford Christmas Gift Fair has been an annual event for 31 years, and is well known in the area for the quality of its stalls. This year the event will be on 18th November 2018. As well as giving local craftspeople the opportunity to display and sell their work, the Gift Fair raises important funds for the school. Join us for this popular, festive event and pick up some stunning, unique gifts for Christmas."

Saffron Walden Late Night Shopping - Fri 30th November

From the organisers: "A day of shopping and an evening of fun and shopping in Saffron Walden Town Centre. Seasonal Market (all day), with entertainment in the evening. Most shops stay open late. Christmas Gift Fair in the Town Hall, in aid of The Mayor's Appeal, open from 9am till 8.30pm. (Gift Fair also open 9am - 5pm Sat and Sun). "

Hemingford Village Market - Sat 8th December

From the organisers: "There’s a great mix of stalls and a friendly atmosphere, what better place to meet with friends and have a relaxing morning browsing all our stalls, sampling local delicacies and when you’ve finished at the market, why not visit the on site “Garden Room Café” for coffee or brunch."

Hemingford Village Market - Sat 10th March

From the organisers: "There’s a great mix of stalls and a friendly atmosphere, what better place to meet with friends and have a relaxing morning browsing all our stalls, sampling local delicacies and when you’ve finished at the market, why not visit the on site “Garden Room Café” for coffee or brunch."

Thriplow 50th Daffodil Weekend - 17th-18th March

From the organisers: "Each year 7,000 - 10,000 people visit Thriplow for our annual Daffodil Weekend. Visitors step back in time, walking the beautiful traffic-free lanes and connecting footpaths, visiting residents 'Open Gardens', Craft Barns, Marquees, Stalls and Demonstrations, and experiencing the warm and friendly atmosphere."

Kelmarsh Country Show - 1st-2nd April

From the organisers: "Home to some of the world’s leading country sports championships, the Kelmarsh Country Show has lots going on for all ages. With plenty of have a go opportunities, over 200 exhibition stands, live musical entertainment, family fun, traditional rural crafts, craft, food and antiques marquees, and of course not forgetting plenty of world class sporting competitions, the Kelmarsh Country Show is a breath of fresh air for all!"

Bar Hill Community Market - Sat 7th April

From the organisers: "We are a group of people selling Crafts & other small local business wares to the public. A whole range of goods available including Handmade Jewellery, Cards, Confectionery, Jams, Patchwork, Wooden crafts, Beauty Products, Photography, Knitted items, Homemade Cakes & lots & lots more..."

South Suffolk Show - Sun 13th May

From the organisers: "The South Suffolk Show is a one day agricultural show regarded by many as one of the leading shows of its type in the eastern region with cattle, sheep, pigs, horses and a wide array of attractions. . Come along to a lovely, traditional, rural day out, not to mention the arts & craft marquee,  shopping marquee, food hall, countryside area, vintage farm machinery, trade stands and superb children’s entertainments, as well as the horse and livestock classes."

Hampshire Country and Garden Festival - Sun 10th June

From the organisers: "There really is something for everyone. For keen gardeners we have wonderful plants to buy from an array of plant stalls manned by passionate plants people. The wonderful Stefan Buczacki will host a Gardeners’ Question Time where all your horticultural questions will be answered and lively debate will abound. There are talks on all forms of horticulture and gardening as well as wonderful displays of garden accessories, equipment, and art which you can buy and take home to your own garden"

Heveningham Hall Country Fair and Air Show - 30th June-1st July

From the organisers: "Come and spend a fabulous day out in the beautiful rounds of Heveningham Hall Country Estate, near Halesworth. The Country Fair offers numerous attractions, with action packed entertainment for all ages."
