Events 2020

Here are the events we will be attending in 2020. Get some splendid deals and come and meet us in person! Keep checking frequently, because lots more will be added as the season progresses.

Chiswick Flower Market - Sunday Sept 6th, Oct 4th, Nov 1st, Dec 6th

Chiswick High Road 9.30am-3pm

We are pleased to be attending this event as part of its grand opening on September 6th. Chiswick Flower Market is a new event organised by a volunteer-run Community Interest Company to bring back life to the former market. Alongside Gardening for Kids, there will be otherlocal businesses selling plants, flowers and other complementary goods, all with a strong sustainability ethos. We are very excited to visit London with our face-to-face stall for the first time.

Clare Market TBC

We are pleased to be returning to the lovely town of Clare, Suffolk on their monthly market. Dates are to be confirmed after restarting again after the lockdown. Clare, we'll be back!

Saffron Walden Market TBC

Come and visit our lovely home town of Saffron Walden. Throughout the autumn and the run up to Christmas, we will be in the Market Square with our full range of children's gardening and nature products. Come and stock up with seeds and growing kits, all designed with children in mind.

From the organisers:

"Saffron Walden is a delightful market town located in north-west Essex, and just 15 miles south of Cambridge. It has a rich heritage of old buildings, including St Mary’s Church, the largest and one of the most beautiful parish churches in Essex. On the north side of town is Bridge End Garden, a newly restored Victorian garden of great charm, which contains a wonderful yew hedge maze and sunken Dutch Garden".

A market has been held here since 1141, and market days are now Tuesdays and Saturdays with shoppers enjoying browsing and buying goods from a variety of market stalls. Beyond the market place, there are many independent shops and eating places to choose from."

Hemingford Village Market TBC

After missing the previous few events in Hemingford, we are delighted to return to Hemingford in the autumn. This lively market is well worth a visit.  Browse the stalls selling cakes, bread, crafts and other produce.  The cafe makes excellent coffee and cake too. We'll be displaying a new range of gardening gifts for Christmas.
