What to plant in November or December

The weather outside might be cold and wet but there are still plants to grow at this time of year!  Try herbs like basil, cress or coriander which will grow on a windowsill inside all year round.  Indoor houseplants like Mimosa, Coleus or Celosia will brighten up the dull days with their colourful leaves and flowers.  And not forgetting a Christmas tree!  Christmas trees grow from seed and are a great fun and novelty item for kids of all ages!
