What to plant in July or August
In the UK, July and August are warm summer months and are a great time to spend outside with the children. This is usually the ideal time for harvesting all those delicious veggies you planted up in early Spring, but it's not too late for tasty crops. Fast-maturing salad crops like lettuce, rocket, spring onions and radishes can all be sown outdoors now, just make sure to give them lots of water!
