What to plant in September or October

Early Autumn is bulb planting season!  Plant daffodil, tulip and crocus bulbs for a floral treat next spring.  Many wildflower seeds can be scattered now to allow plants to establish roots and become established before the harsh winter weather.  Think oxeye daisies, forget me nots, poppies or pollinator mixtures.
